CU student wants to live off Groupons for a year
Each day, Groupon.com features an incredible deal on things to do, see and eat in your city and other cities around the country. CU student Philip Thurner is attempting to live off only Groupons for 365 days.
It pays to be a learning assistant
The CU Teach Program is now accepting applications for physics, chemistry, math, astronomy and molecular, cellular and developmental biology learning assistants. Learning assistants must have taken and passed the science or math class with an A or B. Students will be paid $1500 for the semester to attend the classes daily, meet with the professor weekly and attend another weekly class about learning styles and techniques. Applications will be accepted until March 10th and can be found on www.stem.colorado.edu.
