Could Peyton Manning come to Denver?
Tebow to free agency….Could Orange And Blue be in his future?
Indianapolis, Indiana--Yesterday the question about Peyton Manning's future was finally answered. As expected Manning was cut by the Colts and will test the free agency market. No specific reason was cited by either Peyton or Colts owner Jim Irsay.
Peyton called this day a tough one because, "We all know that nothing lasts forever. Times change, circumstances change, and that's the reality of playing in the NFL."
There seems to be a bounty of teams looking to seek out Manning's services for the next few years. Hours after Manning was officially released, 12 NFL teams contacted his agent regarding playing for there teams. Sources say that the Arizona Cardinals, Seattle Seahawks, Washington Redskins, Miami Dolphins, Kansas City Chiefs, New York Jets and Denver Broncos are among the teams interested.
Denver brings up an interesting question because of their current QB situation with Tim Tebow. Bronco fans around Denver seem to have mixed emotions.
"I think it would be a huge mistake because I think Tim is such a great role model," said Broncos Fan Pam Janssen.
No word on where the Manning Camp is leaning. "I have no idea who wants me, what team wants me, how this process works," Manning said.
But according to ESPN sources they do expect to make a decision on where Peyton will play in the next week.
