The Ritz starts the Halloween party early

There are new trends this year for Halloween and The Ritz is full of costume ideas.

Covered from floor to ceiling, The Ritz costume shop is full of everything Halloween. From wigs and hats to masks and makeup, The Ritz has costumes on their mind.

Their staff prides themselves on being creative and are willing to help with any costume needs, even if you don’t know quite what to be. On the other hand, if you know exactly what you want and how you want to look, they can help you with that as well.

Last year’s trend was all about Sarah Palin, but this year there are new hot trends. “[There’s] A lot of Michael Jackson stuff, and so we got the Thriller costume which is really popular,” said saleswoman Tiffany Zarr.

Lady Gaga also seems to top the charts this Halloween with her unique and outrageous style. Also popular is, “anything to do with Alice and Wonderland,” saleswoman Ashley Kukla said. “I think 'Where the Wild Things Are' is going to be a big deal too for anyone who likes to where hair or fur.”

Not only can you buy costumes at The Ritz, but renting is also an option. The store offers costume kits with everything you need and a renting period of 48 hours for extra wear. Through Halloween, The Ritz will be open from 10 a.m.-10 p.m. on weekdays and from 11 a.m.-8 p.m. on weekends.
