Doing a good deed on Thanksgiving can make all of the difference. Don’t miss out on your chance to help out your community.

Every Thanksgiving communities come together to help families in need of food, love and support. Workers at Jax, Happy Noodle, West End Tavern and Centro will meet at Zolo’s to help serve food. This will help the Imagine Foundation feed over 200 people.

The servers are working for free out of the kindness of their hearts. Assistant general manager Donny Hare said, “It’s not a fundraising event, so much as it is just a chance for us to sit down, feed some hungry people on thanksgiving and send them home with a good taste in their mouth.”

The restaurant is planning to have a variety of food to choose from. Anything from hot tamales to hot turkeys, they won’t be short of much. This is an opportunity for the restaurant to give back, and provide a warm welcoming place, and give moms a break from their everyday lives.

The Image Foundation was established in 2000. Education is a crucial part of helping the community to better understand the role people with developmental disabilities play in society, what their needs are, the challenges faced by their families and the support they receive. The foundation supports 2,500 people with developmental disabilities in the Boulder and Broomfield communities.

The foundation has raised more than $3,000,000 since 2000. Volunteer are always welcome to help out or donate and enjoy some of the best food in Boulder.
