UCSU works with $34 million
The University of Colorado’s Student Union controls a budget of $34 million.
This budget funds the UMC, Student Rec Center and Wardenburg along with many of the student groups like GLBT.
The President of the Legislative council, Blaine Pellicore, said their biggest challenge is voter apathy. Many students are uninformed on this election, but the UCSU encourages students to vote with banners and signs all over campus explaining the voting process.
The voting process has been simplified to accommodate student’s busy schedules.
