CU football Pro Day
The National Football League draft is right around the corner and with that comes the University of Colorado's pro day. Former CU players, who are draft eligible, will have the chance to showcase their athletic ability in front of a numerous NFL scouts. However, not all of the graduating seniors may opt. to participate.
Players, if they perform well at the pro day, have a legitimate chance to boost their draft stock. On the flip side, if players perform poorly, it may hurt their draft stock. Its a risk, reward situation and as a result, CU hasn't received confirmation whether Offensive Tackle Nate Solder, or Cornerback Jimmy Smith, will participate at CU's pro day. Both players are projected to be first round selections in April's NFL draft. There are a couple players who really stand to benefit from the pro day opportunity.
Wide Receiver Scotty Mcknight, who is CU's all time leading receiver, is often overlooked due to his size and perceived top-end speed. He's out to prove all the doubters wrong and he has confirmed he will work out at CU's pro day. The same can be said for Cornerback Jalil Brown. However, Brown has not confirmed whether he will participate at the pro day.
Either way, its a big month for former Buffs' football players. All of whom have a chance to boost their draft stock and make their NFL dreams come true.
